Twist of View

To me twist means, a spectacular movement of scenario we didn’t intend to see.

This view welcome me as I headed home from my recent Oceanarium getaway. It was gloomy in Misamis Oriental on that day actually and when I see this, I didn’t hesitate to capture it! Beautiful twist!

I Will Rise Out of the Fire

I love her voice! ❤

Your Daily Dose

In the dark corner of my life
I hide in my shell
Escaping the stabs of your blade
But they still penetrate
Keep cutting me down.

Try to run, you won’t let me run
Pull me back into hell
Drowning fast into emptiness
I can’t see myself
You’re cutting me down.

But hold on, it’s not over yet
I will rescue what’s left
This crumpled heap of dreams
Will be rebuilt, redeemed
The fearful whisper that was my voice
Will echo loudly through the noise.

I will rise out of the fire
You can burn down alone
I am free
I’m finally free.

Inside the Oceanarium

Inside the Oceanarium

In my third visit in Manila I finally able to make it at Manila Ocean Park! Taking UV Express Van from Paranaque where I stayed, DG Budget Hotel, to Roxas Boulevard cost Php 30.00.

I bought the Deep Sea Rush ticket for only Php 550.00, it’s a promo rate so it’s not that out of budget. Haha Lining up to buy a ticket won’t take that long, thumbs up for the fast tellers/cashiers. Sea Lion Show is my first stop.

After seeing those very cute sea mammals I head up directly to Oceanarium where you can find tons and a different sea creature that you haven’t seen yet.  If you are fond of Koi fish you might want to feed them but the pleasure of feeding them is not free. Stonefish is the weirdest yet interesting creature I’ve ever seen here. When you hear the Antarctic lovely Penguin are there, although I didn’t enter The Penguin Quest at least I experienced the Trails of Antarctic moment. HAHA

This is where I enjoyed myself most, welcome to the Jellies: Dancing Sea Fairies Exhibit. I was really amazed to these different jellies in the showroom, what my eyes seen goes through my heart.

Experienced the Sharks & Rays dry encounter in Ocean Park as well.

I didn’t watch the musical fountain show anymore cos it’s scheduled at 6:30 pm and my time is very limited as well. I need to go in Divisoria for the not-so-shopping list. I enjoyed my little time at Manila Ocean Park, I hope you enjoyed the photos I’ve shared here. It was a blueish day! 😉

Make Your Own Havaianas! ( MYOHCDO2014 )

I was early today at Spruce Limketkai to surely won’t miss this biggest flip-flops customization event that only happens once a year.(Am I right? lol) I was really waiting for this event to come here in CDO and finally, day 1 has come. For the first time I chose my flip-flops  matching combo design! 🙂 Thanks Spruce for making this happen!

I chose the lake green Top Sole and I chose the marine blue for my straps. Unfortunately, marine blue is not available for my size 😦 but thanks to James, who assembled my pair of havaianas, for helping me in choosing the match color strap for my lake green sole. James suggested the neon pink strap which I agreed on and chose hipsicle pin. So, camera roll it! 😛

The documented photos while he assemble my flip-flops 😛

The Shy Smile 😛 LOL

Tada!

I so love it! ❤ ❤ ❤

And guess what ..

You will have one free original glazed doughnut of Krispy Kreme! What can I say? They really collaborated! 😉 lol

I enjoyed it. My first time to meet James, The Chubby Buddy, as well! 😉

Kagayanons, you still have until May 20 to decide your match made design flip-flops 😉

Our First Time Together in Manila

Our First Time Together in Manila

Her five weeks and three days vacation are over and it’s time for me to accompany her in Manila. This is our first time traveling together, first time together on the plane, first time for Kalesa ride, and our first time in getting lost and wander in a strange place.

We only had 2 nights and 1 day to spend in Manila but we have so many plans. We took the last trip going to Manila so we arrived pre-evening time. Taking the shuttle going to NAIA I is only Php 20.00 then from NAIA 1 we just walked going to DG Budget Hotel. My bad because I thought it was just a blink of an eye in getting there but it wasn’t. It was just my second time so I thought it was just REALLY a walking distance. HAHA So imagine sissy carrying her baggage for 20-30mins long walkathon. Then we spent the whole night relaxing in an air conditioned room twin bed sharing room for another long day for tomorrow.

Our first stop was at Binondo. We had our breakfast at McDonald’s then headed up to 168 Shopping Mall where you can shop till you drop. At noon, we decided to go to Luneta and no luck for us because all the Jeepney going to Luneta route is full. But the Kalesa driver is such a blessing in disguise, he has the good intention to serve tourists in Manila unlike my first experience of Kalesa with friends. Manila that time was really hot, or shall I say always hot? It felts like we were toasting ourselves under the sun.

One of the things that we didn’t able to do was going together in Manila Ocean Park. Our stomach was upset because of the Chicken we ate last night so even it wasn’t really feeling better day for us but at least we managed to have fun. Then the day comes when sis needs to leave the Philippines. See you soonest ate! 🙂
