It started in 2014, I don’t know if it’s just a coincidence or what but I think it just became my habit coming back in Cebu every September. Can I put the blame on The Maze Runner movie? LOL. We also watched the Scorch Trial in 2015 and went to Moalboal but I haven’t blogged about it cuz I merely went MIA in blogging during those times. Continue reading
Maybe because somehow I get invited to few of my friend’s getaway trip together with his colleagues, but I think there’s more to it.
There’s something about Cebu that makes me want to come back, it’s calling me. Totally not a Moana theme but one thing I am sure is, totally not the traffic too. HAHAHA. Continue reading
Wow! was the first word I uttered when the pump-boat started to slow down and see the Virgin Island even closer. Continue reading

Four hours of travel from the city is just a beginning of adventure if you are heading to Tumalog Falls, Oslob, Cebu. If you don’t have a private vehicle and you’re taking a bus, the driver will drop you off exactly where the road sign going to falls is. From there, take a habal-habal to Tumalog Falls. But wait, that is just your second step heading there. Ah ah ah! Continue reading
To go or not to go?
To buy or not to buy?
These two question are always on my mind for over a week now!
I really really really want to go far away from where I am now even just for awhile. (Give me money!!!)
And I really really really want to buy or to have a phone that can access PDF file! (Give me money!!!)
Whatever to myself! 😛
Which of which though?
Thirty-four hours passed by when a 7.2 magnitude earthquake hit Bohol.
It was around eight in the morning yesterday when my brother woke me up and told me to get up because of the earthquake that was going. The moment I have my senses for real, I felt like a dancing drunk and I can really feel that our house was shaking, things were moving and
it was like crazy. That phenomena is not really a nice wake up call in the morning. No one likes that feeling to be scared first thing in your day!
We listened directly to the news and we found that Carmen, Bohol was the epicenter of that earthquake. Bohol felt 7.2 magnitude and Cagayan de Oro felt 4.0 magnitude earthquake.
The next Island of Bohol is Cebu. These two province were affected so much by this quake, mostly infrastructure damages but the sad news is, there are people who died in this natural disaster. I have a friend who is working/living in Cebu and I am glad he is safe and sound. He even shared how it feels like to be in 9th floor when it happened. There’s still aftershocks happening in Central Visayas and people really felt it and it shakes them.
This is one of the old Churches in Bohol. 😦 Check BBC News post http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-24530042 and Inquirer.net article http://newsinfo.inquirer.net/507169/6-dead-power-down-as-7-2-quake-hits-bohol
The damaged that this earthquake brought was at least lesser. Why? October 15 was a regular Holiday and no classes and no work. We should be at least thankful that it was a Holiday because if not, the damaged must been even worse including the life that been taken away by this disaster.
Praying for Philippines!
